Unbroken Voices: From Shadow to Light – Final Day of #OrangeWeekAthens
We are proud to share the success of our event “Unbroken Voices: From Shadow to Light”, presented on the final day of #OrangeWeekAthens — a global campaign to end violence against women.
During the event, we showcased the results of our powerful art therapy project led by Alina Malinovska, a talented art therapist, gestalt therapist, and artist. The artworks reflected the voices and inner worlds of women navigating experiences of gender-based violence.
We also had the honor of welcoming Claude Jonkmans, founder of EmpowerVan, who led an interactive self-defense session and introduced five key principles of personal safety.
Our gathering was more than an exhibition — it was a space for dialogue, healing, and empowerment. We proudly contributed to the global movement against gender-based violence, reaffirming that change begins with awareness and active participation.
We are deeply grateful to the event’s organizers — @opanda.gr, ACCMR, and UNESCO Piraeus Club President Ioannis Maronidis — for their ongoing support and generosity.
🧡 A special thank you to UNHCR Greece, who were present to offer informational support to participants.
Together, we continue to stand strong — with unbroken voices, moving from shadow to light.
