Our mission
We are a non-profit dedicated to preserving Ukrainian culture and supporting Ukrainians in need — in Greece and Ukraine — with a focus on empowering women. We provide humanitarian aid to refugees, orphans, and vulnerable individuals, while building bridges between the Greek and Ukrainian communities through solidarity and cultural exchange.
We help Ukrainians integrate into Greek society by offering legal, social, and humanitarian guidance, and through cultural and educational initiatives in partnership with international organizations, we raise awareness about Ukraine and promote democratic values.

Our story
Our story began in 2017 as a small club of Ukrainian women in Greece, created to build community, preserve culture, and support one another. Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine in 2022, our efforts grew significantly as we expanded our humanitarian and social support to respond to urgent needs.
In 2025, this work was formalized with our official registration as a non-governmental organization under the name Union of Ukrainian Women in Greece, marking a new chapter in our mission and impact.
